Indian Desi / Pariah Dog

Sheru was rescued near NH-44 in Panipat after suffering a severe leg fracture from a speeding vehicle. After 6 weeks of orthopedic immobilization, calcium therapy, and loving care at Chhaya Foundation Trust, Sheru made a 100% recovery. Today he is one of the happiest, most affectionate dogs at our sanctuary, greeting every visitor with a wagging tail and gentle eyes.

Indian Desi Puppy

Champa was found abandoned near an industrial canal in Panipat, shivering and dehydrated. Our rescue team brought her to the sanctuary where she was bottle-fed, dewormed, and immunized. Wearing her signature green polka-dot bow collar, Champa is full of curiosity, puppy kisses, and playful energy. She is ready to grow up in a loving family home.

Indian Desi Sahiwal Calf

Nandi was rescued as a weak, injured calf wandering near heavy highway traffic after being separated from his mother. Brought to our Panipat Gaushala sanctuary, his wounds were dressed daily with herbal antiseptics and he was nourished with fresh green fodder and mineral blocks. You can adopt Nandi for a farmhouse with safe grazing space or sponsor his lifelong Gaushala care.

Indian Desi Indie

Rocky survived a terrible road accident and weeks of loneliness on the streets before a kind commuter called our 24/7 helpline. With patient veterinary treatment and wholesome meals, Rocky regained his full health and confidence. He loves resting under the shade of trees and bonding deeply with his human caregivers.

Indigenous Indian Desi Cow

Gauri was rescued from plastic ingestion and severe dehydration on the outskirts of Panipat. After intensive veterinary fluid therapy and rumen recovery care, she blossomed into the gentle matriarch of our Gaushala wing. She loves marigold garlands, fresh jaggery treats, and peaceful mornings in the sanctuary courtyard.

Indian Golden Indie

Moti was rescued when his previous owners abandoned him after he developed a severe skin infection. With medicated baths, nutritious food, and endless love from our founder, his golden coat grew back soft and radiant. Moti is house-trained, gentle indoors, and loves resting his head in your lap.

Indian Desi Puppy

Rescued on a freezing December night in Haryana, Gudia was nursing hypothermia when she arrived at our shelter. Bundled in a warm winter jacket and fed warm milk formula, she survived against all odds. Today she is a bright-eyed, intelligent puppy looking for a warm forever home.

Indian Desi Calf

Shyama was rescued with a limb sprain after falling into a roadside ditch. Our sanctuary team safely lifted her out and nursed her back to full mobility. She is deeply affectionate and runs up to greet our caregivers every morning.

Spotted Indian Mountain / Indie Mix

With his distinctive spotted paws and joyful grin, Kalu is a favorite at our Panipat sanctuary. Rescued from severe malnutrition and tick fever, he has made a complete recovery and loves outdoor walks and belly rubs.

Lhasa / Pomeranian Mix (Abandoned Pet)

Snowy was cruelly abandoned on the streets with matted fur and dehydration because his owners no longer wanted to care for him. Rescued by Chhaya Foundation Trust, his coat was gently groomed and his health restored. Being a small indoor dog, Snowy is looking for a loving apartment or home where he will never be abandoned again.

Sultan loves splashing in our shelter's cooling water tubs during hot Haryana afternoons! Rescued from a severe maggot wound on his shoulder, Sultan healed remarkably fast and brings joy to every corner of the shelter.

Indian Desi Mother Dog

Tara was rescued along with her newborn litter from a dangerous construction site during heavy rains. She raised all her puppies safely inside our Panipat sanctuary and has now been spayed and vaccinated. Tara has the warmest, most gentle motherly nature.
